Avondale’s Magnificent Collection of extraordinary wines approved by Mother Nature had the opportunity to shine at the TFWA Asia Pacific trade show held in Singapore during May 2011.  The focus for our agent, Anthony Budd of Diverse Flavours was to gain listings for select South African estate wines in airport duty shops and in flight shops, as well as pouring opportunities on First and Business Class flights.  “The liquor market in Asia Pacific continues to offer exciting opportunities for growth,” says Anthony, “Wine consumption continues to grow in most countries in this region and South African wine in particular has seen steady and improved growth.”  It was an exciting opportunity for Avondale to take our place alongside other premium quality wines and gain exposure in the promising Asian market.  Avondale’s Magnificent Collection is comprised of three stellar reds Navitas, La Luna and Samsara; two invigorating whites Cyclus and Anima; a gorgeous, fresh Rosè, Camissa and an effervescent Brut, Armilla, made in the Méthode Cap Classique tradition.
