Our bespoke wine tastings offer a personalised and unforgettable experience, highlighting our commitment to hand-crafted premium wines.
In the elegant and relaxed setting of our Tasting Gallery, guests can sample our range of seven slow-crafted wines while learning about our unique, minimal-intervention winemaking process, which respects and works in harmony with nature.

Cellar Tours
Enjoy a guided tour through our state-of-the-art gravity-flow cellar, built three stories underground in the cool depths of a natural dry riverbed. You will hear about the winemaking process and what makes Avondale Wines Estate so unique. A quick glimpse into our beautiful red wine maturation cellar and viewing of our Qvevri and Clay Pot project.
The Cellar tour includes a 7 wine tasting. You might even get a chance to see some action in the cellar!

Eco-wine Safari
For those who love exploring the winelands and learning about winemaking, Avondale offers a truly unique experience. Our Eco Wine Safari takes you on an insightful journey through our scenic, certified organic farm. This highly specialised tour showcases the remarkable ways in which Avondale produces exceptional wines with nature’s approval.
Set against the picturesque Klein Drakenstein mountains, you will enjoy tastings of our hand-crafted wines in the very vineyards where the grapes are grown. The tour also includes a visit to our state-of-the-art gravity-flow cellar, built three stories underground in the cool depths of a natural dry riverbed. The journey concludes at our Tasting Gallery, where you can relax with the view or explore the latest art exhibition. Each Safari is tailored to your needs, and to ensure the finest experience, all Eco Wine Safaris are by appointment only.
