Faber awarded Two Star Award – a milestone for Paarl

We’re delighted to share that FABER Restaurant has been awarded two stars at the 2025 Eat Out Woolworths Restaurant Awards — an incredible honour that places us among South Africa’s leading culinary destinations. Even more special is that FABER is the only restaurant in Paarl to receive this level of recognition.

This moment marks a meaningful milestone for us at Avondale, and one we share with immense pride and gratitude. At FABER, we’ve always stayed true to our farm-to-fork philosophy — letting the seasons guide us, celebrating the integrity of our ingredients, and cooking with heart and purpose.

As Head Chef Dale Stevens puts it:

“We’ve never chased stars — we’ve followed the rhythm of the farm, the seasons, and the stories behind our food. This award is a tribute to that journey, and to every person who makes it possible.”

Dale extended his thanks to the entire Avondale and FABER team:
